Our salute to Cape Verdean culture starts with a lesson in the history, meaning and evolution of traditional Crioulu dance from lead choreographer and instructor of Culture*Park’s Cabo Dance Project, Zezinho Semedo.
Then, enjoy live dancing by “Raiz di Terra”, from Catholic Charities Teen Center at St. Peter’s School. The troupe will be performing Funana, Coladera and more! Plus, don’t miss a modern dance presentation by Denise Lopes from the Cabo Dance Project!
