For this exciting and memorable event to take place over the Memorial Weekend at the beautiful Marriott Hotel at LAX, on Friday, May 23rd, beginning with a "Meet & Greet" gathering Welcoming her Excellency "Ambassador Fatima Lima Viega & Emanuel Duarte".
Saturday will feature presentations & CVSC History Exibit, followed by our Celebration Dinner & Dance featuring live Cape Verdean Music by "Djuta Barros & her band".
Festivities planned for the Sunday Outdoor Event will take place at Burton W. Chase Park, Marina Del Rey. Come & enter your island receipt in the "Cachupa Cookoff Contest". Register now! Hope to see you all there!
