It's been on the list of “things to do”... Over the past couple of years after having worked extremely hard on the security aspects of CaboVerdeOnline.com, we set out to finalize and integrate the entire site into one simple virtual community.

As we worked on a design to make it simple, less cluttered and easier to use, we have paused a few times to ask your opinion. We wouldn’t think of introducing many of the options available here and a unique look without asking you what you thought first. And you told us. Your feedback was incorporated every step of the way into the new CVOL you see today.

You asked for more features higher on the page. You asked to communicate with other members in real-time by viewing who’s online. And you wanted to add a little flavor to your instant messages by using the emoticons, audio and video files! You asked for a place where you can rekindle old memories, meet new friends, chat, chill and kick back in a secure and easy to use web-based interface.

Above all, you told us to design a place to help you stay in touch with loved ones and to find happiness through a safe, fun and effective online community. A place that would deliver a variety of choices, more connections, and in the end, you wanted a successful cabo-verdian relationship or simply the recovery of a lost friendship that was interrupted by immigration! And in the mix of these correspondences, you really emphasized privacy and security as you main concern. That’s why we had to work on online security first and unless you give out your real name or e-mail address, it will never be disclosed.

We know navigating a robust website like CaboVerdeOnline isn’t easy. It will take you awhile to get used to all of its features and become comfortable with it. All we ask is that you give it a try. Give it a good workout. Use it for a couple of weeks, and see how it goes. If you have trouble finding anything, read our FAQ page.

We’ll read every one of your notes closely, and implement the best ideas as we continue to improve CaboVerdeOnline.
