Maria O. Rocha

ROCHA, MARIA O., 95, died on June 3, 2008 at the Linn Health Care Center. She was the wife of the late Aurelio Rocha. Born in Cape Verde Islands.

A daughter of the late Antonio do Santos Rosario and the late Olympia (Ramos) Vieira Tavares. She was the mother of Jose Rocha and Maria (Rocha) Fernandes. She was the sister of Victoria T. Vieira and Feliciano Tavares Vierra and the late Julia Amado, Pauline Santos, Enos Brito, Ana, Dora, and Peter Vierra. She had 8 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held on Friday at 10am in Bell Funeral Home, 571 Broad Street, Providence. www.bellfuneralhome.net
