Cape Verde manuscript to be previewed

NEW BEDFORD — A preview of the manuscript of the late Manuel E. Costa Sr. and a short film with interviews of Cape Verdeans in the Diaspora will be held from 2-4 p.m. Sunday at the YWCA.

Presented by Jeanne M. Costa and family, is the book "The Making of the Cape Verdean, 1920s-1970s" by Mr. Costa Sr., a well-known figure in New Bedford.

The event is held in partnership with the New Bedford Historical Society and the Cape Verdean Common Threads. Donation is $5. Refreshments will be served but seating is limited.
