Antonio S. Rose ROSE, Antonio S. 77, of Clearwater and formerly of Stoughton, MA, died Saturday, Sept. 6 at Morton Plant Hospital in Clearwater. He was born in Brava, Cape Verde Isle, Portugal and moved here in 1982 from Stoughton, MA. He was a retired Marine Engineer and worked for Exxon Shipping Company for 35 years. He was a member of the St. Jerome Catholic Church in Largo, and the Suncoast Portuguese Association. He is survived by his beloved wife of almost 50 years Zilma S.; son, Dr. Manuel S. Rose and wife Susan of Clearwater; daughters, Tina Maria Rose and her husband Tom Stanton of Norton, MA and Diana Marie Rose of Quincy, MA; sisters, Maria Rosario Rose of Hanover, MA and Maria Adeleide DeMinico of Pembroke, MA; grandchildren Kasandra, Marcus, Richard and Spencer. A visitation will be held on Sunday, Sept. 7 from 4-8 pm with a vigil service at 7 pm at the Moss Feaster Funeral Home, Serenity Gardens Chapel in Largo. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday at 11 am at St. Jerome Catholic Church in Largo with entombment to follow at Serenity Gardens Memorial Park, Largo, 727-562-2080.
