ATLANTA — Kyle J. Bivins, 19, of Atlanta, GA died July 9, 2008 unexpectedly due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

Born in Columbus, GA, the son of Audra H. Grace and Barry Maurice Bivins of Atlanta, he was raised in New Bedford before moving to Atlanta 10 years ago.

Kyle enjoyed playing basketball at the New Bedford Boy's Club.

Survivors include his parents; a sister, Alisia Bivins of Atlanta; his grandparents, Henry and Brenda (Silva) Grace of New Bedford and Mildred (Johnson) Bivins of Columbus, GA; his great-grandfather, John Grace of New Bedford; a niece, Ciara Stewart; and several cousins, aunts and uncles.

He was the grandson of the late Sam Bivins.

His Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10 AM in St. Lawrence Church. Burial will follow in St. John's Cemetery. Visiting hours Monday 4-8 PM in the Saunders-Dwyer Home For Funerals, 495 Park St. New Bedford. For directions and guestbook, please visit www.saundersdwyer.com.
