DARTMOUTH — alice B. (Monteiro) Leighton, 79, of Dartmouth, died July 16, 2008, at home. She was the wife of the late Leo J. Leighton, Jr.

Born and raised in New Bedford, the daughter of the late Manuel R. and Constance (Baptista) Monteiro, she lived in Bridgeport, CT most of her life before moving to Dartmouth in 1985.
